Cobra True Duals installed today
Got my Cobra True Duals installed today, thanks to President's Day and Dennis Kirk.
Took about 4 hours, but only because I discovered a baked-on nylon rope on one of my fishtails, between the saddlebag and the muffler. Had to deal with that. Most of the time was spent getting the stock stuff off. The Cobras went on no-problemo. Got out for about 30 miles to shake them down a bit. Felt good, sounds great, and IMHO, they look good too! They changed the high-pitched "pop pop pop" sound into a very nice deep rumble. Still not sure if I'm thrilled with the cheapo eBay slipons, but they'll do for now.

TC88 - never really had a heat issue :-D
But yea, I could see how these would help. The heat shields are nice. Once piece, good chrome. I have absoultly NO heat on my leg at all like I do with the 2010 Ultra. Even with the FM headpipe on that bike, my right thigh gets warm.
