Default Moving the passenger backrest back a few inches, whats needed...

I have the quick release passenger backrest and rear rack. I dont really keep em on the bike unless the wife is with me, is there anyway of moving the backrest back a few inches? Do they sell anything to do this? Is there a cheap mod to do it?

Very interested in some responce's here as well. Nothing on the market that I am aware of ( Hopefully I am Wrong ). I have read of a member of one of these forum making brackets to move it back & had intensions of taking orders for those of us interested but it kinda died away. Anything New?

Here is what I did ...... changes the angle, you can't really see the difference, but moves the backrest back about 1.5-2". Add a hole to the bracket below the original mounting hole to allow teh bracket to "swing" downward, moving the backrest back. Think it through for a few seconds, it will come to you, very easy to figure out where the hole goes, a few minutes of drilling and moving the mount.
