Khrome Werks on Baggers
Ok I am probably going to purchase a set of Khrome Werks 3" HP 100 ehaust slip on's for my 97 E Glide Classic. I know many if not most of us really have varried opinions on pipes so that notwithstanding, I want to hear from those of you who have had or have the Khrome Werks pipes. Heres what I would like to know from ya guys and gals............
How is the product.....quality, looks and sound. How do these compare to other slip ons and exhausts? How did they sound with the baffle they come with, was the change good enough or did you end up pulling the baffle out to get them louder?
Basically after that just any thoughts one these , I value all of your opinions.
Thanks. For the record I am keeping the stock head pipe including the small left side "Y" crossover.
Thanks a lot.

How was the sound...if you could describe it.....did you keep the baffle you got with the slip on's in or remove it? Did you have to rejet?

Yes I kept the baffles that came with them .... the sound was mellow and low .... not hard on the ears at all .... I did fatten it up a little, ( I don't remember which size jet I put in ) but that was to address another issue that I was having ... I was real happy with the sound and durability ... Hope this helps.

Do you have emissions in your state? I had Krome Werks slip on's on my Sportster when I bought it and the sticker stated that the exhaust was for off road use only and not emissions legal or something along that line. My dealer got away with it I think due to the fact my county in Maryland has no emissions.
