Question Head cooling question...

There is an air channel underneath the valve cover that runs front to back on the twin cam. On my RK, that channel is blocked by the heim joint braket on the front.
Has anyone thought of modifying this braket to allow some air flow to get to the heads? Would this aid in some additional cooling?

Thanks....

I guess the more I think about it....if someone designed a billet bracket that didn't cover this air passage, and designed a funnel of some fashion, it could easily pass much more air through the top of this passage, and could help cool both front and rear heads better.

Of course the bike must be moving pretty good for enough air to flow...

Just a thought.

I've got to imagine that air still flows around the engine mount & runs across the head but I gotta admit I've never really given in any thought.
