Default My 50 Thousand Mile 2010 Street Glide

Turned 50K today pulling into the hospital.

The bad thing is I check with the dealer to see what the 50K Service will cost.
Me, "I need to bring my bike in for the 50K Service. Is it a major service interval?"
Service Writer, "Yes, it THE major service interval."
"THE!?"
"Yes, it's the most important one, after the 50K the service resets to 5K, 10K, etc... just now it's 55K, 60K etc."
"How Much is THE 50K service?"
...type...type...type...type...
"One thousand, two hundred dollars."

I'd say you are getting your money's worth from the bike.

do it yourself no way will they proved 1200 worth of service unless they plan on replacing the cams and pistons lol. the only thing out of the ordinary is they change fork oil (easy) and fuel filter (easy)

That's ridiculous.

The only thing that was extra on my 50K service was changing the fork oil, which is supposed to include complete disassembly and cleaning of the front forks.

I'd ask for an itemized quote or go elsewhere.

Maybe things in general on "The 9th Island" are more expensive...?
