Hey bro I just went thought the same thing on my 05. If you look in your manual you will see that the exhaust clamps are a one time use only. Go to the stealer and get some new ones. They will cost $17-18 for the set. Then torqe them down to 40-60 lbs.

This was my issue! I went & looked up the correct torque specs for all the exhaust clamps & then ordered a new set of the rush torca clamps because I doubt the "typical" claps were doing the job. A lot of after market slip on's tend to use a thicker steel then the stock HD's

the down load still makes the bike lean they have to be compliant with the epa i dought its a leak from the clamp. it could be but not likely when u ad the air cleaner and tru duals or a 2 into 1 its gonna run lean. my buddy just added the exieds and it did help but it still has a little decel pop. until u get a tuner thats how its gonna run. i have had the power commander 2 of em in fact and thy both went bad and i also had a sest the best tuner i have bought today is the thundermax everyone has there preferance mine was the thundermax i havent had any issues with anything sinse.

Hey there,

Had the same issue. Put V&H slip ons on my '11 FLHX with SE Heavy Breather. Did a standard Harley download. Lots of popping on deceleration. Two months later dealership found my spark plugs were white when I brought it in for check-up...the bike was "hesitating" at low speeds. Engine was running lean.

Bought a SERT and had dealership do a Dyno and tune.

No problems since.
