Default Does anyone scrape when banking hard in a turn?

I was taking the off ramp on the way to work this morning banking what I would think is a moderate right turn leaning it over when it scraped the ground. I got to work and looked underneath and the bracket that holds the drivers right side floorboards on has a scrape mark on it.
It did it once turning left but figured it was the kickstand that hangs down a bit lower.
Is this normal?

That depends, on my wife's Slim I scrape the floorboard all the time...on my Road Glide, I never have.

Normal as in nothing wrong with the bike, probably.
I know how fast I can go around a corner without scrapping so I don't normally scrape.
Some bikes can lean farther and corner faster than others.

A few times when I'm alone but never when the war department is on the back because I don't like getting socked in the ribs.

Scrape? Boy- Howdy! Just like yours, floorboard on the right and the kickstand when turning left.
Those ground down floorboards are like a rite of passage on a StreetGlide. A badge of courage if you will.
Even more-so on an ElectraGlide. Wear them proudly.

Scraping all depends on your bike and your ridding habits. I typically don’t scrape because I don’t ride all that aggressive.

If you’ve ever seen the “Ride Like a Pro” DVDs they address scraping all the time. If you practice in a parking lot you will experience some scraping and it will simply let you know your limits. Good stuff!

I scrape mine occasionally and not ashamed to admit it.

Got about 1/8' left on rear outer corner of either board. Bracket ground a bit also.
