Twin slash ovals are louder than monster ovals. I really like mine.

I just put Vance & Hines High Outputs on my 103 Limited Ultra. Amazing sound. Took me about 3 seconds to decide that I didn't like Monster Ovals for me. Go to YouTube, type in Vance & Hines High Output Slip-Ons, put on some headphones, and listen to them on that orange Streetglide. That's EXACTLY what mine sound like.

It all depends on whats loud to you. I have the Ovals on my 07 RK with stock headers and i think they sound fine. I'd recommend going to a bike night and hangin around for a little while. You"ll be able to hear different pipes on other bikes. I'm sure you'll find the ovals and monsters, as they are quite popular. If you have questions about their setups, just ask.
