Thumbs up 2006 Dyna Super Glide no signals, horn, brake

I had the same issue with my Super Glide (FXD). Was riding for the day and making a few stops. After the last stop I was riding and notice the speedo needle was not working and the odometer was blank. Neither turn signal was working as well as the horn and brake light. I think this happened last year too and the turn signal module was replaced, however I can't be sure because I can't find the work order from Harley. I will check during the work week. HOWEVER, I thought I would get my hands dirty and check out the fuses. Even though the fuse block description in the manual suggests that the instruments (13) and the Lamps (15) may be the issue, it turns out that fuse 12 (accessories) was blown. After replacing that with one of the spares (#8 --#7 was missing) the lights, speedo and horn starting working again.

I now am wondering if something is shorting out the fuse. I will have to keep an eye on it. I did notice that the battery tender cable cap is missing and wonder if the exposed post on the connector hitting the frame would cause that particular fuse to pop.

Angry Same issue but got worse

Similar issues, blew 15A fuse, no brake lights, turn signals or horn. Replaced fuse, turned on bike and popped it again immediately. Checked wiring that I could visually check and nothing looks exposed. Came back later w new fuses and turned on bike, now when I click it to run on the handlebars...nothing. Won't start now?? WTH? Hoping I didn't mess something else up. Just don't want to tear alert the entire bike chasing gremlins if it's something simpler that I'm missing...

I'm having the same problem. Accessory fuse blows. Which means no brake light nor turn signals.I tried a continuity test from the fuse box to the tail lights. All good. I did not test from the fuse box to the front. Would this even work for short to ground problems?
I need help. Whats my next step?

6 Years later,,... what did you find out?

2009 Ultra Classic (FLHTCU):
... , a car behind me kept turning his lights off, eventually I
pulled over , something must be up I thought.
Sure enough , no brake light nor turn signs. Headlight does work.
Fuses check out.. smh.... Looked under fender best I could with it jacked up,
hard to see everything, but don't see any issues there so far..
I guess next step is to take off the bat wing and look for open circuit?
Tsm, I think I have tssm.

Do the front turn signals work?
Do the front running lamps work (in the front turn signal)?
Does tail light work?

Does the bike have ABS?

Hi Dan,
All fixed, everything worked at the front end.
Nothing worked at the back end , zilch.
No ABS.

I had found a connector that I had labeded ''connected to nothing'', I had
labeled that when I bought the bike, as it was not connected to anything.
For shts and giggles this am, I plugged it in to a mating connector, everything
came on.
Later this am , I came to realize that I had removed my Tour pack last month, so
that explains why the connector was never connected when I bought the bike, earlier
last year, it didn't need to be connected, that is why the sold it too me like that, it
is a redundancy.
With tour pack installed there are connectors back there to handle everything aft of
center, what i didn't realize at the time is that this was the case, and something would
need to be connected to take care of the back-end-lighting once the tour pak is removed,,
lol , lesson learned.
I was ready to remove the back tire and front faring, luckily I figured this out right before
starting on that. lol..
