Default cyclesmith 13"

put these on the girlfriends bike last august. got some kuryakin fairing plugs where the mirrors used to be and put on some short stem blacks off of a v-rod. they have a sharper angle in the stem. little more laid down look

Default Purchasing

I've decided to install the Paul Yaffe 10" MBB on my Streetglide and this thread has been very helpful. Now I like to always try to find the best deals with compromising quality, So the question is where to purchase from? I've shopped around and Revzilla will sell them for $360 shipped! Amazon is around $348 shipped but not sure if I trust buying from an unknown company on there. I'm looking where to buy my +4" clutch cable from as well and wondering does it have to be Harley OEM or are all clutch cables pretty much the same and do I just need to worry about the overall length, if so what length do I need. I did see one recommendation on the cable for Black Pearl at $75.99. Btw I'm looking for a SS clutch cable!

I bought mine from hd dealer. I live in Canada and anything I found on line. the shipping was a killer. it was cheapest to buy from them with the plus 4 clutch cable

Internal wiring was a PITA due to the small bar diameter but well worth the trouble. +4 Brake and Clutch to keep it clean and stock looking without pinching.

**** me! Just figured out that my heated grips won't work with the Yaffe bars. Damn I hate to lose them.

thanks to all who offered advice on this thread.
I had a set of the 10" PYC bars from my last bike. I was waiting until I could afford the cable kit to install them on my new to me 12 EGC, until I saw this thread. I did buy the HD 32310-08 TBW kit which made it real easy (once I found the wire color match on another thread on this forum) Based on the information in here I didn't even try to run the clutch cable through the fairing. Everything fit great, and I am very happy. I will upgrade the clutch cable over winter.
