Default Question about Saddlebag Guards

Wondering if these saddlebag guards alone are enough to protect the bike if it drops ie: resting on the crash bars and these:

I know you can add the addition bars that wrap around the bags but would prefer not to. Also, anyone have a picture of their street glide with them on but without the wraparounds?

If you accidentally drop it or do a low speed lay down they work miracles... anything with speed you'll still lose a saddlebag and front fairing.

Perfect that's what I'm looking for. If I end up dropping it (knock on wood) I have a feeling it will be at low speeds.

They come stock on Kings and I can say for a fact. I will NEVER have a Turing bike with out them.

I tried to straighten one that was slightly bent, no luck doing it with the tools and equipment that I have. Very tough! I bought a new one.
