t-man 600sm cams with what pistons
How is everyone? Advise would be helpfull, Here is what I got, 2012 SG.. Some 2-up looking for torque from 2000-5500...some red line runs...would love to see 115/115 with no detonation... I do have a SERT..sent the heads out to Revolution performance for a stage 2,, have the t-man 600sm cams,Thinking about sticking with the stock bore.. Bike is new with 1 mile on it... I have a set of Forged SE pistons part # 22144-08, according to book with stock head they make it 10.5:1, My heads are 84cc ,,so i'll be 10.6:1.. I could go with a thicker head gasket but that is not the best way? I also have another set of SE pistons # cast flat tops 21966-07 that I got from ebay ,,, according to the searches they are a 10.5:1, and again with my heads being 84cc's i would be at 10.1:1... Thinner head gasket would get me up to 10.2:1,, (T-mans recommandation) Heres is the twist, the part number stamped in the piston in the SE cast kit is the same as the stock one that I pulled out? MOCO specs the new tourings at 9.6:1 .... Why? So heres the question.. What piston would work best? Or should I use another cam? Any help would be great.
