I ended up buying the extended service
Plan.
I have a leak on the front right fork seal
I called Calgary Harley Davidson and they
Said it’s a 4 hour job and would do both sides
at the same time. I was surprised when they said only 4 hours, They are booking about 7-10 days out.So when it stops snowing here I will ride it over there. He said it was be ready at the latest 1 day later.

I'm confused. What are you surprised about? That it takes 4 hours? Do you think it should take more or less time? Or are you surprised that it will be ready the next day?

Tell them you will gladly pay them for 8 hours and they can keep the bike for a week.

to busy. Have to wait till it warms up a bit. It’s cold today , next week it will be 60 degrees

They are booking 7-10 days out. Seems busy enough. Or are you saying they are sneaking you in? Either way it’s all good.

 

Here's another surprise for you - 4 hours is the flat rate book time, it doesn't really take that long.

 

All sounds good to me. One question. You mentioned the extended service plan. I assume that this repair is covered right?

Yes it will be covered with the service plan
have’t used the plan yet so this will be the
first, I’m thinking to take it to Calgary Harley Davidson. I bought the bike at gasoline alley in red deer but it’s a 100 miles north, they did say they would come and pick it up in Calgary anytime I needed service but Calgary Harley Davidson is 15 minutes away so that easy.
