Can't go wrong with Andrews, I have the 26H in now and love them! I've had a couple of Wood's (made by Andrews), Tmax, and SE. The thing with cams is to get one to suit you - don't try to suit the cam! Having used many different ones, I don't think any one brand is better than the next but rather choosing what is right for you - and you have to be honest about your riding style.... That is the key.

Looking at the AFR, seems you could even get a bit more power out of those in the 2500 - 3500 range.

Nice gains after the dyno tune. I know alot of guys like the vtune/auto tune and that choice may work well for some. But what you gained using a good dyno tuner is very typical.

I've considered that. But I first need to identify what is causing the lean spot. Is it TBW lag, does it simply need more fuel..???? At any rate, the engine will rev through that zone so quickly at WOT, that I don't know that I'll notice much difference, seat of the pants wise.

I am a big fan of the Andrews cams, they work well and are less money than most. I ran the 21H in my 2009 96" and it ran great, I installed the 54H in my 2011 103" Road glide Ultra and it runs fantastic, the big item is tuning and how you ride, single, two up. I do think the 48H in a 103" is fine but the new 57H ( a 37H with high lift) will give better results on the 103. The Screaming Eagle 204 is also fine, but will cost more. Try the 57H and let the smiles begin.

Went with Andrews 48H
After hearing from many of you, emailing Doc in FL and hearing from Gary Wallace at Andrews, I went with the Andrews 48H for my 2012 Street Glide 103. Gary said the 48H would be better at my altitude (Denver - 5200ft). If I was closer to sea level he said the new 57H would be a better choice. I also added an S&S stealth air cleaner, Fullsak headpipe and Monster Rounds. Improved torque from 83 to 105 and HP from 66 to 88. I'm very pleased with the sound and performance. It's amazing how much better the bike breathes. It seems to run effortlessly whereas before it felt like it had asthma.
Thanks for all you input.

p.s. If you are in the Denver area and looking for an independent, Randy at Speedwrench does excellent work for a good price.
