Default 05 RK, new owner with exhaust question

Hi all, just picked up an 05 Road King this week (FLHRI). Only 15k miles. Loving the ride except for the exhaust. The previous owner put on a Thunderheader 2 into 1 with the heat shield wrap. It sounds fine, but looks totally fugly, IMO.
I made a commitment to myself to put at least 1000 miles on it before considering any changes, but I know the pipes will likely be the first to go.
My question is; can I simply swap pipes and go, or will the engine need to be tuned for the new exhaust? I figure it was done when the Thunderheaders were put on. I'm thinking if I swap in a different 2 into 1 exhaust (in chrome, of course), I should be okay. What say you?

I think you'll be ok with just a swap. If you mess with the intake flow, that's when you will need a tuner. If you start pumping more air through the motor, it will lean out the mixture and you will need to add fuel to that additional air that you push through.

Enjoy the scoot!! I'm a HUGE fan of '05 Kings!!!!
