Default Ok to use Bugslide to clean LRS shield?

Installed new LRS shield on my FLHR today and would like to know if it's ok to use Bugslide to clean it.

The Bugslide bottle says it's body shop safe and contains no wax, petroleum, silicone, or ammonia. Contains no abrasives and is safe on all non-porous surfaces including: paint, chrome, glass, fiberglass, acrylic, aluminum, plexiglas, plastic, lexan, vinyl, and leather.

I've been using Bugslide on the stock shields for two years with great results. But I'm not sure what materials the LRS shield is made from.

Is it safe to use Bugslide on the LRS shield?

Yes it is safe. I use bugslide on my LRS almost daily. I live out in the boonies with and this spring it seems like we have lots of bugs. So every day I have to clean it. As long as I am doing the windshield I end up doing the batwing. The stuff seems to work pretty good.

It's fine on LRS or probably any make of shield. I use it regularly.

Should be ok. Your shield is impact modified acrylic. Just fyi though, we use stuff called Purple Slice. Awesome stuff if anyone trys it. http://www.purpleslice.com/
