pros and cons with 120R motor

I went a little different route and used my 05 Timken cases and built one from the ground up. So far I can't think of any cons and it sure as hell is a lot of fun to ride.

You can buy a crate motor or build a great motor!

I just returned from a 2K trip through the Smokies and I am quite happy with the build....although I know myself well enough to know I'll be experimenting with some different cams if for no other reason than I like screwing around with these machines.

I had bought mine and had it installed last year for under $6500, but that included some work they tried doing to the engine I had replace. $10,000 installed sounds pretty steep?

R120
I have a R120 on my 08 Roadking. Installed it stock the first time big mistake. The crank pin slipped had to have it torn down to have crank trued and wielded. Then lots other changes. Better oil pump, gear drive cams, heads work with upgrades, changed pistons. After all of that the motor makes 155 hp but motor is sound and I am very happy with it just wished I had did all the upgrades prior to first installation.
