Default Royal Purple??

I know this is a topic that has been repeatedly beat to death and everyone has their opinion or product that they stand faithfully by but I was looking for feedback from Royal Purple users. Good or bad!
I have a few buddies I ride with that swear by this product. One of them is pushing 100k on his 04 softtail with no major issues and swears Royal Purple is a big reason for that. So i was thinking of going Royal Purple in all 3 holes next change and wanted some feedback.

Thanks in advance! Ride Safe!

I use RP 20w50 in the engine. Bike has 68k and I haven't had any problems with it.

I used to have RP in the tranny and primary but have gone away from it in those locations. I now use Formula+ in the primary and NAPA dino gear oil in the tranny.

redline has a complete package that has different product for each hole...worth looking at.
as far as royal purple goes--have over 200k on my ford pickup and always used mobil 1. while back, needed an oil change and the shop was out of mobil 1. it was either amzoil or royal purple--so i chose RP. motor seemed noisier and it did use a quart of oil between changes. have gone back to mobil 1.

I use RP in all holes and pushing 70k with no problems with 1 exception. I was on a cross country trip and the time came to change the oil and I could not locate and RP. I ended up using Amsoil and my bike has never made as much noise as it did then. When I got to Phoenix, I got the RP and changed it again.

Been running it in my truck since it was new and now have 200k with no problems.

Contrary to another poster I have found royal purple to be much quieter than other synthetics I have used. Sounds more like non-syn to me. The wife even commented on quieter sounding after I switched and she didn't know I switched. No complaints so far other than it is pricey.
