I watched as they put this bike on the pedestal and then one of the crew showed me pics and told me a little about the bike. There is a small group of people that run Yesterday's Motorcycle Restoration Co. Which is a division of Topeka Harley-Davidson. You can visit their website to see what they do.

I wish I would of had my camera but the phone had to do. The bike was a gift to the owner from Harley-Davidson in 1959 and Yesterday's was contracted to bring it back to life. As you can see they did a great job.

The owner of the FLH is Jerry Lee Lewis, yep the one and only.

Like being transported back in time. My Dad bought a new 1959 Chevy Impala. I was 5 year old. I wish he would have bought a 1959 Panhead. And keep it.

 

I'll have to stop in and see it if I ever get back to Kansas.
