Default I've gone solo with Mustang - with Diamond Stitch Pattern

Here's my new seat. It seems to be Mustang comfy and has the drivers backrest which I have to have.

It's a Mustang Wide Tripper™ Solo with Driver Backrest in Diamond Pattern (I also have the passenger pillon)
Fully adjustable, easily removable driver backrest is built directly into the seat.
Comes complete with Chrome hardware and our mini fender bib.
Part Number: 79725

This is the first Mustang seat I've seen that has a decent stitch pattern (and does not sit you forward and taller)

I bought mine through http://www.cruisercustomizing.com/mu...r/part/M-79725 and saved some major dollars.

Looking good, Texas! Major improvement to have the backrest on a low solo seat.

It's a new style for this summer. I am loving it.
You could always sell yours in the classifieds. I've switched seats a lot that way.

I have to have a backrest. It's the only way I can ride, it's hell getting old.

It's way more comfy than the stock CVO seat and I have to have a backrest. Why Harley doesn't understand that, I'll never know.

Mustang is starting to offer Distressed Brown seats too, like on the CVO Roadie.

I was looking at that seat for the last week and now that I have seen it on a bike I might have to pull the trigger.

Did it move you back or down or keep you in the stock position?

I'd say maybe back some, but down for sure.
(I've had Mustang seats before and did not like how they moved you forward and up.)

FYI: Mustang told me it was on a 2 week back order, but it took 4 weeks to get it (worth the wait).

Here's a video from the guys I bought my seat from.
The "How To" on installing the seat part, is at the 2:00 mark.
