Default Put my new Lowers on today

Got the lowers from Fairing Factory delivered yesterday and installed them today.

Im very happy with the fit and finish on them. IMO they look and operate the same as the HD Lowers. Mine came as vented, Vivid Black with Magnetic Glove Box Doors and quick detach hardware. I got them on a pre order sale for $ 365.00 delivered but after seeing them and using them on my bike I think they are well worth the normal E Bay price of about $ 450.00. I also got great service from Andy at fairing factory before and after the sale when I had some questions.

For the Road Glide owners, if your having any problems with wind from below the fairing or just want to reduce it, its a huge difference with the lowers on. I have absolutely no wind hitting me on my body or head from below the fairing now.

I only road about 75 miles yesterday with the lowers but it was in the 90s and with them open I did not think it was to hot to keep them on year round.

That's a good buy on the "fully loaded" version!

The vents must make all the difference in the lowers.

I have the solid lowers with no vents and have just removed them as it was way too hot behind those solid/unvented lowers and doubt that I'll ever put them back on again.

Bike is a '95 EVO Ultra Classic. I also got rid of that crash-bar.

I've been riding with new (well new to me) lowers for about two months and what I have noticed is that with a head wind or no wind, the opened vented lowers are plenty cool. But any side wind makes the leeward side (blocked side) of the engine hotter than without lthe owers.

The Rep, "Andy" was offering a pre order price of $ 300.00 delivered (painted, glove boxes, hardware) with out the magnetic doors when they were waiting for the next delivery of product a couple weeks ago. I also wanted the Manetic G;love Box Doors so for an additional $ 65.00 he added them. I had to wait about a little less than 2 weeks for delivery. But for $ 365.00 I think I got a great deal.

They list these on E Bay at about $ 495.00,but there is messages that say if you contact them direct (call and ask for Andy or email. Info in the e bay ad) they may accept a offer at a better price...?

Eastern Performance has them for $ 469.00

glad you're happy with them, but if you have a color other than vivid black, it may be cheaper to go with the color matched hd ones. unless you've got the skills or a connection at the paint shop.

i don't know why, but the denim black were cheaper than the vivid black. i paid $490 for mine, while the vivid black, and other colors, would run about $530.

that is of course from one of the discounters, and without the magnetic door lids.
