Build a dream system!
I would like to get opinions on a "Dream System" for a '12 RG Custom.
The budget will be $2k.
The saddle bags need to retain storage. (Some loss is acceptable)
I would like to be able to order the lids pre-painted and complete (if possible to get the best sound).
It is ok to lose the glove boxes and a couple gauges. It is also ok to drill the inner fairing.
I want to get rid of the stock head unit. I want to retain the handlebar controls and interface with an iphone 4s.
The system will see Rain.
I appreciate any and all info!
I want this so loud it blows my wifes top off at 100mph!

You don't spray your bike with a hose
I am running a JVC KD-AVX777 DVD player, Arc Mini and two pairs of JL Audio 6.5" speakers on my bike sounds great and I keep my bike clean without blasting it with water all the damn time.
As for the dream system. I'd probably get my hand on the Rockford PBR 4 channel and 2 channel, drive four 6.5" Arc Moto series or similar speaker, two in stock location, to pointed toward the neck inside the fairing.. Run the 2 channel to a pair of 6x9's in the speaker lids and call it done. It will be loud as hell and sound good without a doubt.
