Will this engine fit in a 1998 Road Glide? Thanks for all Valued Advice.

It says right on S&S's web page that this engine will only fit 99-06 touring bikes:

To me that means it's for early Twin Cam frames. Your bike is an Evo.

Here's a similar engine designed for your bike:

First of all thanks for your Valued Advice! I assumed that since they make an adapter to put a HD Twin Cam Engine in an Evo Frame that a T111 would also fit. Maybe their configuration is different. The S&S T111 available to me is only $3000 and is still in Crate and comes Complete with Injection,Charging System,Regulator and Wiring Harness. Just assumed I could make the exchange happen. Guess I will put it up and wait till I find a 99-005 Bagger to slide it into!

Thanks Again

Ba boom!! http://vulcanworks.net/SS-Twin-Cam-M...ate-p-189.html

Have the T111 in my ride(2004), like it alot. FYI, S&S had a bad batch of valve springs, one of mine broke 600 miles into break in. They covered it, but a pain in the *** still.

The date on my Certificate of Origin is 06/15/2011. When the engine died and I called Tech support all the guys I talked to had a good idea it was a valve spring, saying the had gotten a bad batch of beehives.
My advice would be to call S&S and give them the SN# and ask them about it, better to change now then when you're stuck out on the road.
Cheers

If your bike is a TC88 and a late 98, it may actually be a 99 model year. As Jackazz suggests, contact S&S direct, they are very helpful.

Called S&S and they said this Engine was in the Bad Batch Period. Should I put Dual Springs in from S&S or are there better springs from another Manufacturer available like V-Thunder ??

Just buy a set of the latest S&S springs from your local S&S dealer, they'll be fine.
