Battery Charge on 2012 Road King

I typically hook up the battery tender that came with my bike once a week or so and it seems like the battery is always under 80% charged. Is that normal? Seems like the battery would stay charged as much as I ride it.

If you have the real battery tender keep it plugged all the time
