Default carbon fiber or kevlar for extra plate clutch kit

I am getting ready to do some upgrades, and along with the cam / header / compensator, I figure that since I have some amazon credit, I will grab a barnett extra plate clutch kit as well. They offer 2 varieties for my year / engine.. kevlar and carbon fiber. I don't know what the difference is with regards to how it will effect things for my bike / while riding, and whether or not I should also be replacing the spring as well (regular or heavy duty - barnett has both) so I am looking for some friendly advice. Thank you! Andrew

You should call Barnett. Carbon fiber is a material. Kevlar is a Dupont brand name of carbon fiber. Kind of like an adjustable wrench not made by Crescent isn't a Crescent wrench.

Thank you X.I.B... much appreciated. I just called Barnett, and they recommended the Kevlar extra plate kit, which is not as 'grabby'. I will also update / upgrade the 'spring' while we are in there, and we are getting close to the end of the mods... yeah right!
