Default 2012 RK ,initial thoughts from an ol' fart

Jeeeeez, what a great bike. The new frame is very well sorted out and rigid. The ride is smooth, even on our not so good NH country roads.
The motor is so different from my BMW K1200RS. Tourque down low is the message, but it runs nicely in 6th at 60.
This bike must drop blood pres. readings by 20 points. The BMW raised them by same amount. The RK is soooo nice to look at. How you spell black and chrome.

My thoughts exactly. Just bought a '12 RK, it is my second, the 1st was an '09 RKC. I like the '12 slightly better, 6th gear seems more usable.

Absolutely beautiful. I got mine several months ago and still find myself staring at it.

I'm an old fart too. Got my '11 RKC in December (Merry Christmas!) and have put 10,000 miles on it since. Did a 1,000 mile mini-tour through NY, Ohio and WV this past weekend partially on interstates and partially on twisties through the mountains. In my opinion, it is the perfect bike!

Enjoy! And ride the crap out of it! (Safely!)

Traded a Deluxe for my current '07 RK and have never once regretted that trade.
