Default 10,000 mile service

my bike is coming up on the 10,000 mile mark. I know that is a factory recommended service interval. I was wondering what all is included in that service? and how much do dealers usually charge for it?
Money is a little tight right now, and i'm pretty decent with a wrench and i have a lift so i'm thinking of doing it myself..
ANy thoughts? advice?

Thanks boys...be well...ride safe

Not hard at all. Here is the checklist the dealers use.

Don't know where in Jersey you are but Liberty Harley in Rahway just did my 10,000 service (09 Road King) for $350. They replaced the rear pads at the same time - $45 for the pads, $15 labor

Their sign above the service garage entrance says $450 for a big twin but they told me that was just the newer? ones. If you're close enough you should check them out. They are fair AND HONEST!

BTW - they used the syn3 in all 3 holes and they have NEVER just inspected spark plugs! THEY HAVE ALWAYS REPLACED THEM! 1,000 & 5,000 & 10,000 mile check ups! I've got 11,000 miles on the bike and I'm on my 4th set of plugs. A bit of overkill but the bike runs like new!
