Default 2009 RK mileage?

2009 RK owners-

At how many miles does your fuel light come on?

Mines starting to get erratic.

there is a float in the tank, just like the one in your toilet.

you can bend the arm to adjust.

or just use the trip meter to keep track of fuel.

occasionally the in tank fuel lines will bind on the float arm.

but the fuel gauge, low fuel light and the range indicator are not hooked up to precision measuring equipment or a computer...just a float

Thanks.

Mine's came on as early as 135 miles and as late as 192 within the last 2-3 weeks.

As early as 150 for me and as late as 225, agree with above I'm starting to think about gas around 175 for the most part. BTW I'm talking about hitting the reserve light indicator, the low fuel means you have less than 10 miles to go I think.

I know that I get 43 MPG with my typical riding style, so a work it from there.

sure do missing the manual reserve like on my older bikes...

you'd think that H-D would have a more accurate system by now.

but then the 2001 Sierra gauge died in 2003...trip meter, fill up every 400
