Smile Going to go TW-222 cams

After checking out Fuelmoto powerVision on their web page, and reading here on the forum about the success PV users are having with their PV units, I decided to get a PV and have my Indy install the TW-222 cams.

The dyno sheets that FM has posted for the TW-222 cams look pretty good compared to what my SE255 cams have shown on last dyno. I know- we do not ride dyno sheets LOL.

I was going to try and wait until Spring of 2013.... Like I could do that.

I hope to get this done ASAP so I can enjoy September / October rides before the ( perish the thought ) ..... Ride season comes to a close in my neck of the woods.

I will post impression of PV and cams after install. After talking with Jamie at FM and other staff at FM on various occasions, I feel really good about going with this mod.

Cheers

Mark

I'm leaning toward the tw-222 also. I had my heart set on the 555 but after many hours of reading I'm really thinking the 222 would be a better choice.

Are you replacing the se255 with the 222?

Does FM have them in stock yet?

It is my guess, that these hot little items will be flying off the shelf as soon as they are in.

Seems like spending a lot of $$ for not a lot of gain. I do think the 222s are a much better cam choice, but I don't think you'll feel enough difference for the money spent. JMHO

It depends on what you think a lot of gain is. I changed the cams in my Fat Bob to TW 555's and I felt there was a BIG change. I'm also going to do the TW 222's in my FLTRX this winter. Another JMHO.

Will go with Torrington cam bearing which is in the Fuelmoto cam install kit. Presently running the factory HD cam bearing with the SE 255 cams.

I just turned 10,000 miles, so wondering if OEM lifters are ok with new cam, or get new set of lifters ?

Yeah but did you go from stock to 555? The OP is going from se255 to TW's and I think thats what DT was referring to.

I would also be curious as to what you feel in gains going from the 255 as I have those as well. Keep us posted mgm
