anyone switch from auto/motorcycle oil to diesel oil in your bike? If so, what are your thoughts? Improvement or not?

Yeah, it's been an authorized "back up" option for decades,

quieter than engine than using synthetic. Currently using M1V-Twin. Noisy at highway speeds.

Ran Rotala-T in my last bike with no issues... there is plenty of info available regarding its use on the web ( the Vulcan crowd has been running it forever)

I'm sticking with H-D oil in my new SG.... at least for the time being

Mine's noisy too on M-1, but I still run it. I'm sure the diesel would be quieter, ( what wouldn't be?) but I wouldn't trust it's benefits long term. M-1's rated now something like SJ ( or L?)
