Default Extended Bags and Wheels

Thought I would share a few pics of my FLHX now that I got the wheels on and the extended bags. I have the detachable painted lowers and chopped tourpak for trips but here she is stripped down. I just need to figure out which apes to go with and she will be about finished. I have a custom seat on order.

Beautiful bike....I prefer the red over the Dark Blue metallic myself.

I have never taken my lowers off.....I love them on the bike.

My apes are 12" and they put my hands jsut over the edge of the fairing.

Thanks....I actually just ordered one the other day. I went with the Sidekick, requiem pattern, red stitching and red ostrich. I really struggled on which colors to go with between red and black. Yours looks really good and has me questioning my choice. Do you have any more pics?

Thanks guys for the props. The bags are Harley's color matched and the quality is just as good as the original bags. The paint matched perfectly too.

As far as bars, I am leaning toward 12 inch apes too. I had 16s on my Softail and loved them but on a touring bike I think 12s look a little better. The bars will be a winter project. I forgot to mention, I am probably going with the CVO rear fender treatment over the winter too. I just need to find a local painter.
