Default 2006 stock cam in 2001 RK?

I recently picked up a 2001 Road King Classic - completely stock. At 27,000 miles I pulled the cam cover to check the tensioners. The front one was just out of spec - the rear one worse with a crack running down the outside wing (piece of original shoe remaing after the inside section was worn away). I have ordered the SE camplate along with new inside (Torrington) and ouside bearings. I thought about upgrading to a low-mid range cam but my Harley dollars are gone (also need a new set of tires) and I am good with the stock performance. My brother has a set of new stock cams off his 2006 Ultra (take-offs). I've done some cumputer reasearch and made several calls to local HD dealers, S&S, others and have not been able to confirm that the specs on the two cams are the same. The final valve lift is apparently the same and everyone seems to think that there would be no problem running the 06 stock cam but I would like to know if the cams are the same. Any Ideas?

Thanks Barry
