Default Odd problem iwth Ultra intercom

A while back I bought a set of Harley wired intercom headsets. First two times we used them they worked great.

Now when we are hooked up:
  • both of us can hear music
  • when I key the mic the volume level in my wifes headset goes way up
  • voice level in her headset is way up
  • When she keys her headset same thing happens
  • I can never hear her talk (no comments here!)
I swapped cables so that is not the issue. I did remove the radio since the last time they worked. Could be a loose connector but since all other functions work fine I am not sure this would be the case

Anyone else see this problem before I take the faring off?

Did you independently adjust the volume in setup mode?
