Thanks PFWHiz and Dep! I'll take a look and hopefully I can hear these. Thanks for the links.

Anyone else have other suggestions or vouch for any that have been listed so far?

I had a Shark system on my V star that worked good, the key is to try to mount the speakers behind the windshield out of the wind. I put a pic of my V Star and you can see the speakers on the bottom of the windshield, they worked much better behind the windshield out of the wind. The Shark system had FM/AM, I could play a ipod and also used a SD card to play music, the system was small and one single unit including the mini 200 watt amp that went in my windshield bag, it was small and worked good, was also less then $100 and sounded better then my friends HD stereo that had speakers mounted on the handlebars, he told me he paid $450 for his and was pissed after he heard my $100 Shark stereo.

I have personally sold and installed several sets of the Kuryakyn "Sound of Chrome" speakers. They are pricey (in my opinion) but for the size, they are loud and have good sound quality.

Default Uniq cycle sounds

I had the uniq cycle sounds on a previous bike and loved the sound. Go with the deeper classic style. I promise you will love em'

Thanks for the suggestion WICK. Just checked out the Uniq Cycle website. They have unreal ratings. Seems like they are all 5 star...there's usually at least one person in the crowd who's unhappy no matter what. Seems a little suspect to me, but you had them, recommended them and liked them so that definitely adds to the credibility. From the way it reads, these speakers sound much better than other speakers in this class. Any reason to go with the deeper/larger classics over the new low profile edition. I'm guessing better sound due to the speaker having a better, roomier enclosure?

Thanks everyone again for your input! I definely have been given some great choices. Seems like the Uniq Cycle are the best so far...still open to other suggestions. I only want to do this once!
