Default 120R & Power Duals?

So I just sold my 09 SG with the HO113 and spent 3 hours at the dealer getting details worked out on the new bike (13 Ultra Limited that will look nothing like a Limited!). Thh only thing I am still back and forth on is the exhaust. I am 99% sure I'm going with the 120r motor and am really leaning towards V&H power duals for exhaust. Had these on the 113 and actually got better numbers out of them than my Fat Cat (and yes, I had them both tuned by the same guy). Just wondering if anybody is running these on a 120r and what kind of numbers you are getting if you are. Thanks!!

How much better were the dyno numbers, and were they performed on the same day?

Am i the only one who thinks it's kinda stupid to spend a bunch of money on a brand new bike and then immediately do an engine swap?
Not being a jerk (maybe i am a little) but if you have the money to buy a brand new harley and put a new crate motor in right away then you mays well spend the money it would cost to buy every exhaust under the sun and dyno test all of them to see which you want. If you do let us know how the test goes lol

The numbers weren't a huge difference, but I got the look and sound that I wanted - the bump was a BIG bonus! And yes, the dyno runs were the same day. As for the performance of the 113, if I remember right it did 117hp and 118tq. I really don't want to go down in performance on my new bike and when you factor in the exrta motor I will have, in the end the 120r is aqbout the same money as doing a 113 the right way - that is why I am being such a "stupid" guy here.

Check out and give a call to http://www.fullsac.com/x-pipe.html headers.
They make a header specifically for the 110 motor. It may help with the 120.

In Sturgis this year I saw a Road Glide that had a 120 in it. They had a 2 into 2 stock looking exhaust, but it had a quick release at the collector so the entire back section of the exhaust could easily be pulled and then it was a very short, 2 into 1 race pipe. I would imagine it had to be ridiculously loud. Not sure who made such a thing or if it was a custom setup.

When I had my 120 I had a Boarzilla, it was one size up on the primary tubes over the Fatcat. I remember reading on the forum that 120R's with Fatcat numbers wise had a little more torque but less top HP and with the Boarzilla a little more HP and a little less torque. The power duals were designed for a 96 to 103 Engine, I can only imagine that they would hurt the top end HP some. That Beast needs to breath!!!

If you had good results with the V&H x pipe vs. the Fatcat, I'd go with it. No question the duals will sound better IMO and of course a more balanced look. (I hate the side of my bike with no pipe) I'd like to see the two Dyno sheets to compare if you don't mind. (Not that I don't believe, I'm just a techie geek and love reading Dyno sheets).

FWIW, the pipe of choice for the 120R (for making big power) is the Boarzilla or Dragula.

I'll also throw this out there - has anybody tries the new V&H high output stainless systems yet?
