Default Road King handlebar question

I've got a 2013 CVO road king. I was looking at some Apes probably 16 in. What are the bar dimensions inside the risers. 1 in or 1.25 ? If I get 1.50's should I find a set that has a step-up or will the sell me new risers to ?

Carlini has great apes http://www.carlinidesign.com
1.5 inch looks beefy on the King. They also have a 1.5 inch riser clamp for Road Kings (HHR-3) that will keep 16 in bars tight.
