Default My new Bike!! What to do next??

Hey guys, just picked up my new bike today, a 2005 road king, it has
Bassani True Dual pipes with power curve headers, power commander with custom tune. Detachable windshield and sissy bar; Engine guard with highway pegs. O.nly 9700 miles. Prevous owner started blacking out components on the bike, i don't think i will go any farther, but i think what he did do already looks nice and makes it different.

Anyways trying to decided what to do first, kinda torn between 16" apes or throwing a 21" rim/tire on the front. I'm kinda leaning more towards the apes, being that i'll be replacing the stock stuff with SS brake lines and control cables; but that new rim and tire looks nice. What do you guys think??

Thanks

Nice bike, I'd say go with some apes & ride it till the wheels fall off!

I put the first pic in so you guys could see my reach on the stock bars. You think 16" would be good, Kinda torn between them or possibly 14's

Those bars look about 8" and you look about 6'-3" so I'd say the 16's would put your arms right at about shoulder height. Am I right or am I right?

That's a nice looking Road King, too. I like the blacked out front end. Congrats!

Congratz on your new scooter, so, how much of your money do I have available for this project that you "asked" me to design? J/K I'd do the apes first because if you don't have the cash for both (hint's the question) the ape's are easier to swing right away and will add cool and comfort to the new scoot. The wheel just adds pretty, so I'd do the apes. Enjoy, and thanks for serving our awesome nation!

Definitely apes... so much more comfortable riding position... more important than looks as a first tweak IMHO.
