Default Can you order a tour pak without the hinges??

Just curious if anyone has inquired about ordering a tour pak without the hinges installed. Gonna order a tour pak and plan to install the premium hinges when I get it. Figured since they have to be painted before they assemble them it would not be a big deal to order one with the stock hinges omitted. Anyone try this??? If not guess I will be the first.

Knowing you, you'll have the bike traded before the tour pak comes in could always order top and bottom and hardware instead of kit. Would have to price it out to see if it would be worth it that way.

LOL. Guess that is an option if it can't be done.

If you pull the trigger on a Tour Pak I have a new back rest and stock hinges for it make me an offer I can't refuse.

Well you can order the tour pack lid separate so I imagine you can order the bottom separate too. Takes no time to drill out the rivets though if you buy it complete.

Harley will probably say they throw the hinges in for nothing. Until you want to buy one - then they're $25 a piece.

Yeah I have done it twice before. Just figured if I can avoid doing it why not.
