My garage door opener on my Street glide stopped working the other day. I had to do somethings under the fairing so I waited until then to check on it. I looked at the transmitter and the red led was not on, last time this happened I needed a new transmitter, so I ordered a new one.
Got the new one and hooked it up and red led doesn't light up! So I check for voltage and ground. Everything looks good. So I take the transmitter off and go and hook the orange/white wire to pos and the black to neg on my lawn mower battery and still the led doesn't light up.

Do you think I received a bad transmitter? Any ideas of anything else to try?
