I have a chance to buy a complete black powder coated slider kit for my flhx and a great price and was wondering how the quality of HD VS sending mine out to get powdercoated.

Which do your prefer, paint or powder, tis the question.

 

HD doesnt profile their parts prior to coating, which leads to adhesion issues (flaking,peeling,cracks). Send your stuff out or buy the smokin deal parts and have em done right.

These guys do a large amount of HD's powdercoating. I am working with them on some custom stuff.

So are you saying that harley stuff is actually paint and not realyy powdercoat. If thats the case no Harley stuff for me.
