Default Jackpot 2/1/2 with thunder cones or Thunderheader for 2012 FLHX

Ok folks, I dont usually do this but I am stuck on an exhaust for my bike. Cant decide which way to go so I thought I would get the opinions of you fine individuals. I have a 2012 FLHX that I absolutely love, but, I can't stand the exhaust. So I start to look at other exhausts and decide on a thunder header. I heard some at sturgis and love them. Then I start researching fuel moto's stuff and start checking out those 2/1/2 headers. So my choices are thunder header or Jackpot 2/1/2 with thunder cones. I cant decide. I want performance and great sound. I also want quality. It is also important to note that next year I will be doing a build and I really dont want to mess with the exhaust. I am getting the powervision and the FM Air Cleaner as well when I purchase this exhaust. Looking to purchase within the next week or two. So folks what do you think?

If you are going to FM for the AC and the PV, I would talk to them about their power packages. You may like the price. I know you will like their support. What color is your X? I am liking my black pipes and you cant see the wifes boot marks

It is Tequila Sunrise/HD Orange. I will check into a power package. Do they do those with thunder header?

I dont know about the thunder headers, but I believe their headers are designed to improve the performance. I would call them and talk to them about options.

Good luck and let us know what you decide. BTW nice color!

Have you considered the dragos 2 into 1 ? The thunderheader sounds bad *** but lacks quality imo, and there is plenty of hp to be had over fm 2/1/2 exhaust. Good luck tons of decisions , chad

The jackpot header does not need thunder cones, why would you do that?

Anyhow, I would second that you take a look at the Dragos 2-1, or take a look at the Jackpot 2-1.

Good luck
