This might give you some options:

I used one between my GPS mount and the fairing mount to make the angle adjustable. Worked great once I got it tight enough to not move until told to do so.

AND
Yes, I did have to make a bit of a mod to use the 660 mount. Easy to do (because it is plastic), and I don't even remember the details. Also, it is hidden when mounted. I don't know if the mod applies to any other devices, but I would think that this is pretty universal.

Use 1/4 inch aluminum or stainless to fit your space. Add a 2inch ram mount, the 2 hole mount then drill a hole for the wiring and use a rubber seal, the kind that slips over the fairing. I just did this for a guy that had a goldwing, a little different mounting because of how the fairing is but it took about 2 hours to make. this included polishing the Aluminum
There is a lot of good suggestions here.
Fixing to turn cool here and I will get bored so I may just make one to see how hard it is to make and get the angle right.
When I do this I usually give it away to see how it works. I just like to make stuff. I am using the fairing mount from HD on my street glide. Oh there is a hot plug in the fairing for a gps.

How married are you to your existing pouches?
I went with the two pouch design from T&T fabrications. More photos on the page link below of my install I provided to them.
