I have it from a reliable source that the EPA shut down the RG because there is a limit to the amount of Fugly a company can put on the road per year.
I find this much more belivelable than... "the tooling to produce the frame mounted fairings on the RG is shot..... And that they are re-tooling for a different frame mounted fairing touring bike?" Do you really beleive the multi-million $$ (or billion $$!) MoCo cannot "re-tool" mid-year? The Road Glide is at it's peak of popularity sence it's introduction, can't really see the MoCo halting production for any reason at this point!

Agreed. The popularity of the RG is at al all time high. I cannot fathom a halt in production. That would be like FOMOCO halting production of F250's for a year.

IMO halting production for a year is a possibility it makes everyone scramble to buy one then when they bring it back in 15 they would sell like wildfire lol.
