I'm not in the market to get rid of my '08 with 60k....
I'll wait a couple more years and see what's out there then...
A Honda produced water-cooled motor will throw off some heat....
I sat behind the radiator on a '99 Valkyrie for close to 100k miles,
when that fan kicked on it would toast and roast your nuts in
a matter of minutes.
I am anxious to see what Mother Harley has in store for us FUGLY aficionados

I came from a long line of BMW bikes to my current road king. It is not just about hp. My last BMW had 65 more hp, almost 2 second advantage in the 1/4, was more comfortable and yet I gave it up for the road king and am happier.
As for the liquid, they can do it and get it right as long as they dont forget their history. Looks, torque over hp and sound. Liquid cooling is quieter and will eliminate the gosh dang awful gas ping on the 103. Use the advantages to inrease torque and exhaust sound to the government limit of sound and it will be good.

Even though I ride a 2012, I really wish we could go back to the days of no EPA, no computers, no TBW, and no fuel injection. My 2000 Softail had an S&S Super E, throttle cables, and ran great. As much as I like my present bike I could do without the damn electronic crap, and I miss the simplicity of an easy to tune carb. Water cooled, no thanks!

The system is not complex or heavy. HD alread has a similar oil cooled head in the XR1200. A passage just circles the exhaust valve. In the XR it is filled with oil and is pumped by its own pump to the oil cooler.
The Kawasaki V twins have a similar water cooled head only system also.
Gold wings have a radiator on each side of their fairing and it has worked for them many years.
The HD system would require a radiator for each head that would be much larger than than an oil cooler.
