Hi everyone,

I've been doing a lot or research for new apes on my '13 rkc. Can't decide between wild 1 16" hubby's and the Carlini Gangster Apes 16".

Anyone have an opinion on which one? Experience? Service? Etc? I know one is a little more expensive than the other.

Really its all about what look you prefer. Gangsters are certainly bad azz. Keep in mind that they'll be a bit taller than advertised.

I've since traded it, but here's my 2012 RKC with 14" Wild1s.

 

I have 16" flying apes on my FHLP, had 16" Chubby's on a previous bike. Both can be setup to feel great, Carlini's have a bit more style IMO.

 

definatly gangsters, and make sure you get the 1.5", they really go with that big chrome front end. I'll post a picture when i get home.

Both are great (I have both), it's just personal preference. Carlini's have style while the Wild 1's are bold and aggressive. Both are high quality. Check the width and pullback for what you are looking for as there can be large differences. SJ Ron

 

i like the gangsters,you will too as others said the 1.50 bars look great with the thick fl front end perfect together,also to your wrist are in a more comfortable position with the carlinis,IMO.turned out rather than in ,kind of like your on a pull up bar.

 

I dig the 16" Gangsters, unfortunately I had to take them off (theyre for sale on here). Careful on the diameter though......1.25's are nice. 1.5's are much wider and you may not like having your hands spread that far out. Here's a pic of mine with 16" 1.25's. Good luck with the decision!!

I've run both. I prefer teh larger diameter bars from Carlini with their added style but there is nothing wrong with Wild 1's. Carlini's will definitely cost more. Carlini's also run taller than Wild 1's.
