Default Street Glide shock absorber question

Which Progressive shock is the replacement for the stock air shocks?

I'm thinking of ditching the air shocks, but I'm not sure which Progressive shock fits my bike and doesn't alter the stock seat height.

I don't know what Progressive shocks you need but if your going to dump your stock shocks dump them my way, I'd like to try a pair of the lower shocks on my Road Glide.

tech , the stock rear shocks would be 12" according to progressive's site.
I'm pretty sure most others are 13".
Alot of the guys here like the 440 model to do what you're thinking.

They are 12" Progressive 440's.. If you weigh less than 225 #'s buy the standards. If you are over that and ride double a lot, buy the heavy duty's.. The advantages over the air shocks are: they ride better, handle better, ands no more air to worry about.

I put on a set of Works shocks on my '06 SG. I'll sell you my 12" OEM air shocks if you're interested. Only put 5k on them and they are in excellent condition. $100 + shipping. email me at lnarudolph@comcsat.net if you're interested
