i like drag p/n 0712-0008
oil filter w/nut twin cam OEM 63798-99
it has a 11/16 nut on the end so you can use a 11/16 socket & long 3/8 extension to remove & install them.

Did you mis-read an article about air filters? K&N claims increased power/performance with their high flow air filters.

Uh Oh! My "aftermarket" Mobil 1 oil filter might blow me up? Nah, at 125,000 miles and still no appreciable oil consumption between 5,000 mile service intervals I'll just ignore that.

(Even those crappy Fram filters that I ran for the first 90,000 didn't hurt anything either.)

OEM just means Contract given to the lowest bidder. And currently that's Champion Labs ( who will sell you a filter directly too.)

Oil filter(s) have minuscule effect on MPG...probably non-measurable so if you're looking for better mileage - tile for some performance changes w/your 2013. Adding things like free-flowing a/c (Stage-1) + less restrictive exhaust (CAT-less) and tuner will be great enhancements for increasing riding comfort & distance. Do some research on air, exhaust & tuners & you'll find lots of great combinations available. Good luck!

BTW, I stick w/HD filters...probably one of the only things not a "hundred dollars" in the store and works same as most + readily available.

K&N. They make quality stuff including air filters. I have the SE Heavy Breather and great product. As far as the oil filter love the 17mm nut removal.

K/N 171-C is the chrome oil filter for the newer twin cam V-Twins.
Parts stores carry them, online is cheaper, look around.
Easy off with the 17mm/11/16" nut too.
