Default Andrews 57 in a 96" ??

Ok. I know the 48 is a good cam for the 96" So please don't tell me get a 48 ..

If you look on the Andrews Web Page they list the 57 for 96"-110" Motors ,,But haven't seen where anyone has installed a 57 in a 96"

How do you think it would work vs the 48 ???

May be a little soft on bottom? Maybe better off with 222 in 96?

57's need more compression.Don't always go by the cam manufacturer literally.they want to sell cams.Lot's of cams are boltin...................they are just not letting you know they won;t come on till 3500 and die at 5000. It's been proven that 48 se 204 and tw222 are about the best in a stock 96...........

I had the 37H in mine and really liked it. My dyno sheet is in my photo album if you want to see how she performed. Good pull down low and didn't drop off like the 26's do. Agree that the higher lift ones need more compression and you'll be frustrated on the bottom end.

As most have hinted to, the 57 will lack the low end tq that most people want for a bagger. If you don't ride much in the low rpms, then maybe the 57 is a good choice. I put 48's in my 103 and I'm very happy with the results...

I've been thinking about swapping my 54's out to go with 57's. A buddy has an 08 streetglide with 37's and the lope at idle is nasty.
