I was checking for the correct polarity on my cig lighter port since they are known for having the wires backwards for using accessories from the factory and it was fine the middle is hot and the outside is ground. Problem is I accidentally touched the outside and middle at the same time and grounded it and now it doesn't work. Pulled the fuse panel and they all light up with a test light? The book doesn't show which fuse runs the cig lighter is it the accessory fuse?
The owner's manual frequently has a good list of what each fuse powers. That list is good to see what else doesn't work that is powered by the same fuse as the failed item. That is an easy way to confirm that a blown fuse is the most likely problem even before any covers are removed.
