Default Fairing skirt removal

Has anyone removed their fairing skirt without removing the outer fairing? I'm wondering if I remove the lower bolt on the front turn sigs and remove the two lower screws on the other fairing it will come off.....I'm getting some things ready to powdercoat and really don't want to remove the entire outer.

There are 2 upper bolts that would need to be removed as well. They go thru the turn signals, inner fairing and then the skirt..
